Here are some pictures of our recent trip to Bimini Bahamas, followed by Boyton Beach FL. The weather was great, 82 - 85 degrees. Water temp was around 74 - 77 degrees. Winds were calm mostly, with a few days of gusts, water was 1-2' swells every day except the final day in Boyton.
The last day in Boyton we were seeing seas from 3 - 5 feet, and getting a little worse during our night dives on the 10th. The following day we were forced to scrub our last two dives as the seas were pushing 8 feet. No THANKS!
We dived the wreck of the Sapona a few times, many of the pics you'll see here were from that wreck. Great visibility there. Many of the other shots are from a dive site called Rockwell and Hawksbill. Unfortunately, I ran out of room on my digital camera when I was in Bimini, so what little room I had left was only surface shots in Boyton Beach.
Enjoy!
p.s. This is my second time taking pictures in the ocean with my Nikon 950. There is a substantial improvement over my first shots I took in Tavenier FL. There is still room for improvement, however. That and the damn Ikelite Substrobe 50 ttl flash I have never once flashed in the ocean. I need to work on that if my fishy pics are going to improve!
